idk if it would be the same with riku or any of the others but iris basically told me "the only limit is our creativity" when it comes to these things. so i sat with her for a little bit and i was the one who came up with the item. well - that's not true, beau helped with these ones but
i came up with two others too iris told me i can only really have one at a time/can't stock them but she said she could create basically anything i came up with. so that was how i got it. i said i wanted something to help us find the most relevant piece of evidence and then i had to decide what that would look like. so a pair of goggles that let you see stuff. make sense?
...what the hell i mean maybe it works that way with riku but half the time when i talk to him it ends up going in a whole other direction i asked him about my own goggles before i even knew about yours they work differently at home and he just said it wasn't worth wasting vouchers to fix them but we never came up with anything else. i wasn't even sure that was an option but maybe i'll go back and brainstorm with him ...i'm really not great at this kind of stuff most of the problems we have to solve are monster-based and i let koushiro do most of the technical stuff
yeah. might not be a bad idea. you could always ask iris, too. she's really invested in solving problems like more than almost anyone i've ever known so she might be willing to help you
and yeah, man, i feel that i could not tell you shit about how my mic works. we don't do monsters but my lil bro is the computer guy i just do odd jobs and kick ass with a microphone and here i've gotta be a fuckin cop detective
yeah i know she is i always leave conversations with iris feeling like i'm not smart enough to solve my own problems not that that's her fault but maybe i'll hit her up later your mic is really confusing but if it works it works you know? no point questioning it koushiro made my goggles and usually does all the analysis for our team i really wish he was here right about now even if we've never done detective work in our life we're usually good at solving problems as a team
