People are starting to buy powers back. So it's totally possible. [a pause.] Or it was one of those coupon things. You don't need a lot of fire to burn someone or something pretty bad.
[he shakes his head.] Assuming the doors open when we fall asleep, someone from any of the dorms could've taken it. That's what bothers me. I don't even know if it's the same one, so even if it's not it still points straight at him anyway. It's pretty damning, so we're going to have to make sure people don't try to blame him early without other proof.
It's an easy thing to frame. It's possible that the chainsaw is his and he left it out hoping to get caught. But it's just as possible someone's hiding and making Denji take the blame. I don't want to expel someone innocent again. So we have to be smarter about who and what we're accusing.
People seemed pretty suspicious of him last week, too. The moron's got a knack for acting suspicious.
Anyway, if I get a look at that chainsaw, I can probably tell you right away if it's the same one or not. Though, to be totally honest, I think it's more likely that he just doesn't keep a close enough eye on where his things are. Y'know, considering it took him a week to find the damn thing.
It should be available for trial tomorrow, I'll bring it in. [except he's just...staring.] Didn't we all wake up in our rooms with our stuff? I know how I didn't find mine right away but a chainsaw's way bigger. That could mean that someone could've taken it without him noticing too though.
I thought the first time we talked it was just that he was in shock about being here, but I think I've seriously underestimated him.
...we'll be careful tomorrow and look at everything. I know we have at least two killers to find, but I'd like to focus on Sieghart's death as much as we can. Fall dorm will figure out how to organize everything to find Bradley's.

[her brow furrows at the mention of the chainsaw...]
Denji would be stupid enough to leave something obvious at a crime scene. But... yeah, his chainsaw? He'd want to hold on to that.
Assuming he didn't lend it out, someone from his dorm could have taken it...

You sure seem willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

That moron... He talked like he was invincible, but he just kept getting into one mess after another. And now look at him...

[but yeah...yeah.]
His immortality was always his excuse. But we'll find who's responsible for this. We just need to stay on track.
