Maybe normal for this place, sure. But then that would mean...what, that this has happened before?

No, that can't be correct. I believe the head of the dormitories said that this is the first year they've done something like this. Then again... they could have known something was amiss. You heard that sound upstairs too, yes?

Yeah. I think most of us caught it. What do you think it was?

I think somebody got in who wasn't supposed to.

By scaling the side of the building and breaking in? They would've had to go past us otherwise.

Is there another way to the third floor? Has anyone even been up there...?

Or maybe someone was here when we were all locked in.

No idea. [to both questions.] But if somebody was already here and hiding before we got back...that's a little more worrisome.

When did you get here last night?

Right around the time the doors closed. I was out at the field and just felt like I should go back.

[which is probably a good thing since a fucking body was found there.]

I wonder if anybody was here earlier than that... They might have seen something? That is, if the intruder theory is correct.

It's possible. One of the first things Hope and I did when we got to this place was look around the dorms for security cameras. We didn't find anything, so it's not like we would know without eye witnesses or anything.

Might be worth asking once everyone calms down... Just to establish a timeline. Unless everyone was outside, then we won't have a starting point to work from.

I don't know about everybody in our dorm, but I'm pretty sure the other dorms had people who were already inside when this whole thing started. They might've caught something we didn't.

That sounds reasonable. I wonder if they also head a noise like ours? Or was that a special treat just for us... Everything else seems relatively coordinated, at least with everyone going back inside to get locked in.

Summer and fall dorms definitely did according to Lila and Luxanna. We can only assume winter did, too. So that makes it even weirder.

Hm. I don't have an explanation for that one.

Guess so. I don't like the idea of waiting around while whatever or whoever killed Tomoe is out there. But what other choice do we have right now? We're running out of places to look right now.
