Oh.... yeah, I get it... there's a lot of drama here, and you probably want to be with your [ boy ] friend....

It has nothing to do with the drama. But...it's something I have to do. You saw how badly injured everyone got when they went to those places and came back. I don't want to risk being separated if something like that happens on another Thursday.

And he won't move here, so...I'm moving out for a while.

That's why I'm telling you. I want to still hang out and do stuff together. And I'm still going to try to find out everything I can to share with you guys. But I didn't want to leave without saying anything to you.

Well, maybe I'll come hang out at Fall, too. When I want to use the bathroom without fear! Or I need a break from all the dumb guys.

With the way things are...it's better to be safe. And anyway, yeah, you can come hang out in Fall if you want. A lot of the people over there are pretty cool anyway. [...he grins a little sheepishly though.] This dorm's nice, too, but...sometimes things are a little weird.

Weirder than here? [ a little cheeky grin ] You know... I don't think I've ever seen the inside of Fall.... so maybe I'll take a field trip tomorrow after you switch, and you can show me around.

The inside's nice. I checked it out a while ago when somebody let me in. We can hang out in the common room and stuff if you want to come visit for a while and get away from...whatever's going on here.

Oh yeah, I showed her how to use the photobooth over in the student union building. We can do that whenever you want.

Hmm...maybe later. I think he's probably busy right now anyway. But if it makes you feel better he'd probably make annoyed faces at me, too.

He's just that kinda guy, huh?

[ she seems kind of endeared, though..... yamato's personality reminds her of phoenix ]

Yeah. The more annoyed he is the more he likes you, usually. [yamato's a tsundere and he's never going to let him live it down.] You eventually learn how to tell when he's being fussy and when he's actually mad.

I guess you're the expert, huh? [ teasing a little since they've fought in public ]

I get the sense he doesn't like me very much.... [ because she annoys him so much ] But I like him. He's pretty nice.

I'm pretty sure I've earned my expertise by now. We used to fight a lot more when we were younger. [this is just said like someone thinking back fondly on childhood and not something that should raise some alarm.]

It takes time for him to warm up to people, but he's a good person. He'll deny it if you tell him that, but he cares about people. A lot.

[ maya just thinks of this as a normal guy thing.... phoenix and edgeworth always fought in court, too. childhood friends... ]

I got that feeling.... he told me I could count on him, when we first met.
