[ at least he doesn't hit hard. also it is just a pen. ]
Yeah, I get what you mean. But I've got a feeling that we overthought it some, too. All that time we spent on the geese when it was probably just a confirmation that we had an accomplice situation when we already knew that?
[ leo shrugs. distractions in trial are bad, fam! ]
[true, leo is the demigod where a pen is just a pen for the most part.]
I still think there was a different meaning to it that we overlooked. The mentor/student angle makes sense. Adult and child less so, but it's still possible. I think I'm more annoyed we spent so many vouchers on birds that hate half of the people in the room.
[ wow he could maybe make a riptide knockoff if he wanted to ]
I could see the mentor and student angle, but it's hard to tell who that could be when it's only been a few weeks.
There's not much we can do about it now. It kind of makes me feel bad for Yamato, though. Using all those vouchers on something like that must be really frustrating for him.
That's the thing. The hint was just obscure enough we'd have to really think it through based on what we know about everybody in a short amount of time. It wouldn't have worked for most of us.
[at the mention of yamato though he frowns.]
It was his choice and he'll complain for a while but I doubt he regrets trying it. We've done stupider things before.
So I guess that's our cue to try to get to know each other better? [ he makes a face. ] Because that will make it easier for us, if this keeps happening.
Same here. I don't know about you, though, but usually my stupid decisions don't have to do with catching a murderer.
We should be doing that anyway, but yeah. If this keeps happening we should have a better idea what people are like. Maybe then we won't spend hours trying to find a suspect.
[but he shakes his head.] Most of my stupid decisions are spent on trying to stop people from destroying everything. Let's call it preventative action?
