Trust me when I say that all of Winter is on board with it. That’s the real reason we all like her.
[ nodding… ]
Friend dates are doable. It’d be nice if they gave it a rest, though. I’m already the odd guy out at home, so all of this is practically rubbing it in my face. Not cool!
Sounds kind of exhausting if I'm honest here. [but that's because the idea of dating and being surrounded by people who are dating is tiring in its own way.] ...who knows? Maybe you'll actually meet somebody and change that.
[he does not think leo has game but it's not like he does either, so whatever.]
Between you and me, pretty sure I'd be more okay with the dragon than with another person half the time. But I guess it's different for us. There were seven of us originally and we all had our own partners. Even when we paired off sometimes we were by ourselves.
[they don't have to talk about dating they can change this to an entirely new conversation. good job morons.]
Depends on the machine. Automatons like Festus can get pretty chatty sometimes, especially with someone they like. But, like, the UTVs out by the farming areas? They’re not smart enough to talk, but they’re still easier for me to communicate with. Demigod privileges, I guess.
Because of your dad and whatever right? [he hums in thought.] It's unique, I'll give you that. I've never really thought about talking to something that isn't, like...a person, or a creature like the Digimon.
Yep. If you ever need someone to figure out a machine, one of us are your best bet. It’s definitely not the same as talking to people, though - or your Digimon, I guess. It's more like... a sense of what's going on with it?
[ not much of an explanation but how do you even describe that to a normie,, ]

[ ...he does feel that embarrassment, and it brings forth a little wave of it from leo, too. ]
Neither have I. But it's nothing to be ashamed about, right?

[this is just a feedback loop of stupidity and it's fine.]
I guess it's not, but this place really wants to make it a huge thing. You remember last week's tasks, right?

but leo rolls his eyes. ]
"Plan a date." Whose idea was that? They didn't even ask us to actually go on the date, but I guess they were saving that for this week.

[all of the winters seem to have the same idea about viola, so.]
Friend dates counted toward that. So if you can find loopholes in these things I think they count enough.

[...he's gonna latch onto this idea, tilting his head a little in thought.]
Are you? That seems kinda hard to believe, dude.

[ hm? there’s a bit of confusion from leo, like it truly never occurred to him that he wouldn’t be the odd man out? ]
Yeah. Seven demigods, and I’m the only one who’s single. You get used to being the third wheel. Or the seventh wheel.
[ is that really hard to believe... does someone actually think he has literally any game?? ]

Like I said, you get used to it.
