I don't know. Maybe we spent too long on the geese, or we didn't use our time efficiently with the checking we did by looking at something longer than something else. But I can't say for sure.

...It's easy to replay everything in our heads and think about what we could have done or should have done better, huh?

Yup. It's...important to think about, but at the same time I don't know if it's going to help us to get too caught up in thinking what went wrong this time instead of focusing how to get it right next time.

[there's a frown.] But I also think we're allowed to think about it and be pretty pissed for a couple of days.

[they still have execution tomorrow, after all.]

Right. So we just... regroup and figure out how to make it count next time.

I don't think it's ever a bad thing to be angry about people getting hurt. We can stay that way for as long as it takes to make it out of here. It's better than not caring, right?

[goalsides]

It's better than not caring, yeah, but at the same time...we can't let it be the sole focus. People can stay angry if that's what motivates them, but it also means they have to be careful not to let it be the thing that consumes them.

If that makes sense.

[he takes a second to think it over, but then he nods.]

Yeah, it does. If people get too angry... They're going to lash out, and we all really need to stick together and work as a group to make it out of here as fast as we can.

Exactly. If people are angry there's a higher chance of us pointing fingers at the wrong person and screwing up the same way we just did. That's the last thing I want.
