I could probably take one down with a crossbow, but haven't personally done so.

Yes. I find it much more comfortable then a sword. I'm not very strong, so I like to keep my distance.

That's true where I'm from as well. Civilians have no need to take up arms, because the rest of us are there to take care of them.

I serve the Illuminators. We're a group dedicated to protecting the kingdom - taking care of the sick, the weak, and the afflicted. Some among us are military, but I am not, technically.

how big's the kingdom anyway? how'd you even get into a job like that?

I was recruited. It can be tough, but it's worth it for the freedoms it affords me.

I'm not sure how to describe its size, but Demacia is the largest kingdom that I know of.
