A lot of Byleth's story didn't add up when I asked her things. I just wanted to know what we should be doing to help them and...got a vague answer that I can't even do anything with.
And now we're back at square one of not even really knowing who else might be involved.
She told me the best way to keep helping was by digging up answers like we've been doing. [so. unhelpful.] And then she started talking about energy exchanges...we were trying to understand why any of this was happening. Wishes came up.
... I wonder if some of it was not just simple encouragement. "The best thing you can do is to keep going as you have been." A long way of saying, "Don't lose hope."
Maybe. That'd be just like her. [and there's a little wave of agitation and also faint fondness there.] She's always...kind of talked to me like she believed I could figure stuff out, even if I'm not so sure myself. Must be a teacher thing.
