You're trying to do something major, Lux. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. [he says, like a hypocrite.]
...we have all night. So...explain it to me. What do you want for mages specifically in the kingdom? The acceptance of magic, okay, but what does that mean for them in particular?
[ unfortunately lux is a logic-brain who has a much easier time opening up and talking about problem-solving than anything else. ]
It would just mean freedom. Not having to live in hiding, not being exiled or locked away or - tortured. No more Mageseekers, which puts my uncle out of a job, but I can't say that I care.
I wonder if the military would expand to make room for mages among the vanguard...?
I don't know. I just... I want to make sure that Sylas leads a better life.
[that's a problem when taichi's not at all logical half the time, but he's making an attempt.]
Okay. So what if the wish was something about how you wish the kingdom was designed to allow mages to live a comfortable life as a vital part of the community with the opportunity for them to grow with the kingdom itself or live their lives peacefully? Something like that. It would mean changing whatever part of history meant that wish wouldn't work.
...I hate to suggest any kind of schooling, but what about something that includes mage education that would have taught the kingdom that mages now aren't actually bad people?
Your wish is yours to do whatever you want with it, Lux. So even if it's hard to imagine, it's worth a chance. It'll turn out fine, and it'll be something you know how to work with.
[cola why do your girls always have these wishes they can't imagine because of their canons. first there was clem and now lux, i'm so sad for them.]
[ the unfortunate realization that escha would have been this way too, if she got a wish.
anyway lux actually looks kind of. giddy at the idea of this, now? and also like she doesn't quite know what to do with that feeling so she's covering her mouth like she should hide her smile. ]
You and me both. I'd be a lot more pissed if we didn't get something after all of this. But that doesn't change what I said. You're allowed to be openly happy about this.

...be happy about it. You earned it.

Everyone here earned it. I'm glad that we all get something out of this and not just the winning dorm.
