I believe at this point several items called to each one of us while what we were looking for was at the very top. I think Leo was the one resisting and climbing up to it, then Maya resisted and helped me.

... Tsuyukusa—the paladin that we were helping saved him. We eventually did get the wits and it ends like some kind of fairytale. Our reward was this.
